(I’ve taken to adding smiley faces to my little messages! Heh! Because I think ending with full stops make the messages cold and solemn. (no offence to people who like full stops) )
anw. Church today at new creation. We weren’t even late for the service and we were at the church(in suntec city) like an hour before the service started and THERE WEREN’T ANY SEATS LEFT! The shock. People come soo(and when I say soo I really mean soo) early just to reserve seats. So in the end we had to move to the overflow room. Which was eng wah cinema next door. I thought it was interesting. First time having a church service in a cinema. But praise God cos He’s everywhere including the overflow rooms. So we didn’t miss out on His presence. Today’s message was just so powerful. Talked about how all of our sins were forgiven and how we were justified through the death of Jesus Christ. I never really felt this happy about my being forgiven when I heard this sermon from other people. But this time it was just like “wow. I’m clean I’m redeemed. I’m saved.” And pastor showed us the sign he saw in the sky when he was in israel. It was really beautiful la. It was a picture of the sun with a rainbow(it didn’t rain that day and on the day before.so logically there weren’t supposed to be any rainbows) around it that had appeared in the sky. And like the guy who photographed it all took shots of it from different angles and we could like see the sun with a rainbow over it seated on a throne of clouds. There was another shot of it soaring on wings of an eagle and also one more of it being the face of a man who was holding a scroll with 7 seals. Ok. So basically the sun is the face of Jesus and the rainbow represents like God’s forgiveness. That He will no longer judge us. when I saw those photos the presence of God was just so strong in the cinema and it was one of those moments where I responded with wonderment and awe. I felt a certain pride in me. Like wow, see see that’s my God can do. He’s real and He watches over us. yea. Service was great. And worship at new creation is always filled with God’s presence. Every song is full of meaning and like as you cry out to God. You can just feel Him there around you holding you.
I shall blog more on todays sermon next time. And I realise I’m not very good at describing pictures. Hmm. Ya.

God help me... i just don't agree...
i'm just waiting for the day when there's going to be absolute serenity.. and days can be spent in absolute peace.. when there will no longer be me overhearing the conversation of the person sitting next to me and feeling very very sorry for the other person.. when it'll just be God and worship.. when i wouldn't have to care about anything but God.. when youths will be one in the body of Christ.. when church will be like never before.. when worship will go up a whole new level.. when God will be so so real and involved in my life.. when i will never feel too tired to spend time with Him ever again.. when i can see that confidence in God in the people around me.. when i will be freed completely from all actions that don't glorify God.. the change goes on..

thank God i survived the prelims. and yup for bringing me through every single paper(see.. told you prelims would be fun..). a prayer never fails to bring down His peace anytime anywhere you need it.. and must really thank Him for helping me with my revision... i would have otherwise been quite doomed.. bio was again another miracle.. lit too.. and He was there with me all the way.. telling me that i'd do fine and that i didn't have to worry.. also brought me through the whole Noah's Ark score incident which suddenly cropped up in the middle of the prelims(i was thinking at that point of time that i'd never be able to concentrate on the rest of the papers) and ended up with frantic calls trying to locate people.. and finally in the end.. thank God Ching Hoon was nice enough to send it over to the school.. so i've seen that she was quite disturbed by it but it was also by God's grace and peace that she still successfully found the scores returned it and enjoyed her meeting people..
operation 40 starts today.. k.. must rely on God for discipline to pray everyday for 40 days..wondering what the results will be..
chinese results to be released..soon... hmm... whatever it is... i still thank God for bringing me through all the super thick stacks of chinese notes.. and for calming me down during the wait for oral..
